Be the calm, knowledgeable presence that makes a cutting-edge treatment feel human.

About Pharia

Pharia helps people access more of their mind’s capacity — improving focus, presence, motivation, and emotional steadiness — to improve their mental performance & wellbeing.

We’ve adapted a 20-year-old, FDA-cleared technology — transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) — for high-functioning individuals who want more control over how they think, feel, and perform. Our treatments are personalized and guided by world-class physicians and specialists.

We’re early-stage and have treated dozens of high performers (founders, executives, and others) to date. Our founding team includes physician-scientists and clinicians with nearly a decade of brain stimulation experience.

The Role

Front-row seat to the future of brain health.

This role sits at the intersection of clinical precision and exceptional member experience. You’ll administer TMS sessions, guide members through their treatment journey, and serve as the day-to-day face of Pharia’s New York clinic. No prior TMS experience required — we provide full training under direct physician supervision.

We’re starting part-time (~2 days/week), with a clear path to expanded responsibilities and full-time hours as the clinic grows.

Day-to-day

  • Administer TMS sessions following established clinical protocols
  • Monitor member responses during treatment and escalate any concerns to the clinical team
  • Guide members through lengthy appointment days with warmth and clarity
  • Answer member questions about TMS science at a lay level
  • Manage scheduling logistics and coordinate with the operations team
  • Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on workflow improvements

As the clinic grows

  • Expand to full-time hours as patient volume increases
  • Take on clinical operations responsibilities — site logistics, inventory, scheduling systems
  • Train and onboard new technicians as the team scales
  • Grow into a site lead or clinical operations role with commensurate compensation

Who We’re Looking For

Precise. Warm. Genuinely curious.

The right person loves working with people, takes protocols seriously, and finds neuroscience genuinely fascinating. You don’t need a clinical license — but you should be the kind of person who makes patients feel at ease the moment they walk in.

Required

  • Hands-on care or client-facing experience with strong interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely
  • Physical stamina for standing extended periods while positioning equipment
  • Genuine interest in neuroscience, mental health, or cognitive performance
  • Composure and good judgment under operational pressure

Strongly Preferred

  • Prior experience in psychiatry, neurology, mental health, or concierge / hospitality settings
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation or EMR systems
  • Prior TMS or neuromodulation experience

Not Required

  • Clinical license — this is a technician role; full training is provided under physician supervision
  • Prior TMS experience — we train from scratch

Compensation

Fair pay. Real growth.

Starting hourly, benchmarked to the clinical technician market in New York. As responsibilities expand, so does compensation.

The Learning Environment

Train at the frontier of brain health.

You’ll work directly alongside Dr. David Carreon, one of the country’s leading neuropsychiatrists — who holds a New York license — and receive hands-on training in accelerated TMS protocols. This is applied neuroscience at the frontier, and you’ll have a front-row seat from day one.
